Gamecube Swiss menu orientation

I have a question that has me stumped…I’m sure I’m overlooking something simple but the Swiss menu looks different and I don’t know why!? Menu used to scroll up/down, now it scrolls left/right…and I’d like to change it back! Can anyone help????

The first picture is of the carousel file browser. The second picture is of the standard file browser.

Simply set the file browser type to standard.

Thank you! That’s the very first thing I tried…after reading your message I instantly realized I probably had to restart the GameCube….which makes total sense because I tried switching from standard and carousel a couple times and didn’t appear to make any difference. I feel pretty stupid!!!!

You didn't need to restart, just bring focus back onto the file browser.
