PSO studder with GC loader

Post by Doctorbeefy » Sun Feb 07, 2021 10:28 pm

I just ran PSO Ep 1 and 2 plus and I get graphical stutter when running and with the chat boxes. Is there a way to resolve this? Maybe a setting?

Are you using memory card emulation?

Should I disable it? Or do I need to turn on a different setting? I am using gc loader with sp2sd. Maybe I didn't set up something correctly?

You should disable it. It's not likely to get better unless I can somehow bypass our hypervisor.

No.
Alright, I assume this is due to how the game writes to the card?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

The broadband adapter uses the same interface as memory cards. We're trapping and emulating hardware register accesses to this interface.

generic memory cards are readily available and cheap, so that's probably the easiest fix. you can move your save to another memory card these days with gcmm or even swiss itself. i assume swiss will allow transfer of sd saves to a real memory card
