Swiss doesn't play games off SD2SP2
Hey
I'm new to all of this and I just couldn't find a solution to my problem after researching for some hours. I really hope you can help me out.
I'm using an AR Disc and an SD Card Adaptor in Memory Card Slot B to boot Swiss (1236). This works fine. An uncompressed .iso that I put on the "Swiss SD Card" starts without a problem.
My SD2SP2 came yesterday, I formatted a 1TB Micro SDXC Card to FAT32 and put the some .isos onto it at the same time. Swiss recognizes the SD2SP2, but won't start any game. The first try of starting the .iso makes Swiss patching some files. Most of the times, an error will occur. After that, every try to start another .iso will result in the "Invalid or corrupt file" error. It also says something about reading errors and the file possibly being too fragmented.
I formatted the card again and put only one .iso onto it. Trying to start it, the files seemed to patch without a problem, but I get a different error: "failed to read main dol header".
I'd assume there's something wrong with the .iso files. But they load just fine when starting off the Swiss SD Card in the Memory Card slot. That's why I don't know what to do next. I'm sure there's a rather simple solution, but I just couldn't figure it out yet.
Any help is really appreciated!
Thank you and kind regards

It's not the files that are the issue, it's the SD card and/or adapter.

Try to clean the SP2 conector with a bit of cardboard.

Cardboard? What? That could only worsen things.
Re: Swiss doesn't play games off SD2SP2
Thanks for your answers so far!
Without having changed anything, this is what just happened:
I loaded the .iso, the files were patched and it said "booting dol". After that, the screen turned black. But there must have happened something, as my Kaico HDMI adaptor displayed a notification about an altered resolution, just like it always does.
I tried to clean the SP2 connector by blowing into it and also (carefully) with a piece of cardboard. The same thing happened.
I'll try an old 2GB Micro SD I've got flying around and let you know how that worked.
Thanks again for your help!

Re: Swiss doesn't play games off SD2SP2
So my old SanDisk 2GB Micro SD works. Don't know whether I should be happy about it or not, as I purchased the 1TB one solely for this purpose.
Is there anything I could possibly do to make the 1TB work?
It's this one:
1024GB Micro SD Card High Speed Class 10 SDXC with Free SD Adapter, Designed for Android Smartphones, Tablets and Other Compatible Devices(1024GB-DA6) https://www.amazon.de/dp/B09L5VG4SW/ref ... UTF8&psc=1

Re: Swiss doesn't play games off SD2SP2
There's an official card formating utility from the sd card association, give it a try.
That's just how I clean most cart connectors, console and cart side. I though it was less risky than earsticks which can let some cotton bits remain over sharp edges inside.
