Controller help

Post by Bardicus » Thu Mar 21, 2013 6:37 pm

I've been reading all the forums for how to so the controller split on each side of the screen in my Gcp. I'm having issues understanding i guess. Please if someone can help me understand this a little better. I'm so close to being done with this thing

cut the board, wire buttons and joypad to the controller IC pins

try an experiment:

take an unmodified official controller
wire a tact switch to the controller IC A button pin
plug in controller to GC see if the switch works...

Ok for sure, say it works... Then how do i make the actual a button contact the tact switch? Just a basic 4 leg tact switch? Also what can hold the tact switches in the back so when button is pushed it make contact but has a backing? Im just not quite sure how it all works cant wrap my head around it! And what about the triggers i want to keep the regular analog triggers. What kind of wire is best for this? IDE, 30 Awg, 26 Awg?

Here is what my case looks like right now
