Fixing/Modding Gamecube

Post by DnkyDng » Wed Aug 15, 2018 9:03 am

Hello I'm wondering if someone has been curious about modding their gamecube to a functioning console/enail combo because I'm one of those people but doesn't know a dam thing about anything and was wondering if someone can help me out with trying to repair then mod my gamecube since there are no tutorial of the subject on youtube or anywhere else I'd buy one but I'd much rather have the satisfaction of building it myself so if anyone can help me out itd ne very grateful

Picture is to get the idea of what I'm aiming for, something you can use to smoke and play a game at your the same time

If you take the DVD drive out and use a wasp or similar, you will have enough room to fit whatever in there with minimal case modding. Surely you can run the heater off the 12V from the power brick.

Does the WASP run backup games at the same speed as GC DVD drive's and does WASP has the same problem as WODE with the audio streaming? Thanks :)

It's a bit faster than the real drive, and doesn't support audio streaming. Compatibility is also not perfect, though it does the job. You'll be hard pressed to find one now though.
