I mean it does nothing. No spinning no laser the only thing what happens is that the xenogc stays flashing red and the error message appears on the screen.

Just tried with an other drive board from an working cube. Same problem it doesnt do anything with direkt cknnection. Does anyone have another idea?

But what I have recognized. When disconnected the XenoGC on the driveboard and direct connection, the Gamecube doesnt end up in an error message. It stays normal in the menu and I have got a questionmark in the DVD menu.

No error message is a good start
Sounds like its ready for a disc and lid closed

Try booting with disc in drive, lid closed, and sd card in slot
It should load WKF iso into gameplay menu.
Then remove the card and hit pin 29 switch
This should eject the WKF iso, then force the drive to spin up and read

if you really want to go all professional you could use connectors so you can plug and unplug the xeno whenever you need too

It could have been a bad job in the xeno, it happens I kinda don't like the way they were made, there was a larger amount of room for error.

I would try using wires to install the chip, and just in case have the firmware update on a disc and a reset button between any letter in xeno and ground so you can program it

Use without Xeno
swiss can patch the DVD drive to read backup discs

Connectors on a Xeno is far from professional

i ment from a testing point of view setting it up so its like plug and play and if somethings not working it can simply be unplugged to test if its that

Should the wiiey fusion automaticly start the sd card or after i pressed pin 29 for the first time?

It tries to read but it ends up in a read loop. And with swiss it shows me an error ready disk and that i have changed the disk.

No need to remove to Xeno to test if it interferes. Just solder a switch between the logo and ground, it will let you disable it entirely, as if it wasn't there.

i highly suggest to remove WKF firmware 1.3 for now
flash the firmware to 1.0 swiss autoboot and use a fat32 SD card for now

reason i suggest is there are to many pain in the ass workarounds that have to be performed....
if you had swiss on flash, then you could very easily just boot into swiss and try to read from DVD within swiss...
this makes testing so much faster and there is no messing around with a pin29 switch...

WKF firmware can be very confusing to use unless you have a high understanding of how it is suppose to work....and in your case, troubleshooting, using WKF firmware is not the best was to go about this just to confirm if your hardware is fully functional and properly connected...

I have flashed swiss on the wiikey. Now swiss doesnt load and I get every time an error which says: this disc cant get read I should read the manual.

After that I desoldered everything for the fourth time. Cleaned every solderpoint and use new wires. After new solder I messured every pin one more time for bridges and connection. No errors. I gave it also to my father and he messured also everything and he also said that everything seems to be correct.

I also have changed the ffc cables.

Now what should i do next? It also seems that my wiikey doesnt start swiss automaticly. The blue light also doesnt flashes anymore when I push the NC switch.

I had this Problem too, Flashing doesn't work anytime correctly....
Now its time for recovery flashing the Wiikey Fusion

Did you use a SD-Gecko for flashing?

Ok seems i have a bigger problem than thought before. I have prepares the recovery image but my cube or wiikey doesnt recognize it. It doesnt react on my sd card.

When i put another one in, the cube says the dvd isnt readable should read the manual. But when no sd card is in the cube gives me no error message.

Edit:
I have recognized that the led on my wiikey doesnt flashes that bright like in other videos I have watched. Before i flashed the firmware it worked and now nothing more.

I am 100% shure the wirement is correct and I am also 100% shure the recovery sd card is correct but after flashing swiss nothing works anymore. Neither swiss nor wiikey. Could any one give me some support?
