Boot BIOS and missing audio with Swiss?

Hi! Running Swiss with GC Loader. Two questions.
When I turn the system on, I hear approximately a quarter of the GameCube BIOS load screen sound, and then it cuts off and Swiss loads. I do not actually see the BIOS during this, just black. Is there anyway to force the GameCube BIOS to display completely?
Second, I would say about a third of the times I load a game, it starts without audio. The only fix is returning to the Swiss menu, and relaunching the title. Is this common?
