I was recalling from our posts here earlier on:

You can flash Swiss directly to my modchip if you use different board. With Pico we are currently limited to ~512kB payloads. This is due to an issue that I couldn't resolve but quite possible it'd be fixed in the future then PicoBoot will be provided with Swiss instead of iplboot.
But I understand in regards to the flash memory.

What if I were to help you obtain a 4MB or 16MB Pico board?
Yes we need bigger flash memory if we were to put Swiss on PicoBoot right now. In the future you should be able to put larger binaries on PicoBoot as long as they fit into 2MB flash.

But I still don't understand why you want to flash Swiss directly to PicoBoot? With iplboot you can force vanilla IPL, load different homebrew based on button being pressed etc.

I still don't see the plot too, when people want to run SWISS off a memcard (with save exploits) or a chip.

I suspect it is because they are fooled by their PC booting windows off an internal device, they just forget that W$ just doesn't sit into the PC's ROM, but in the mass storage device, that the SD card is, in the case of a GC's setup.
DMG/MultiFreq OC/EDGB/EZF Jr, AGB/SC miniSD, NTR/NeoMK3, USG/flashme V8/SC miniSD
DOL001(EUR)/RGB/GCPlug/GBP/SD2SP2, RVL 001(EUR)/RGB/CMP/WiiSD

Zelda WW with Tingle Tuner in split screen was what the GC RF modulator was made for! (Video)

I don't want to make a great big deal out o it, but one of the main reasons is simply convenience.

I guess I'm going to be that guinea pig with the Swiss flash to 16MB Picos :D

And it's always good to have options. It doesn't matter what it is.
