Need more info on tmbinc`s mod

Post by MSaki » Sat Sep 10, 2011 1:15 am

i got a box load of amtel eeprom chips and iv been dieing to make a modchip out of one with the ability to be flashed from the gc i have action replay sd loader but idk how long the disk will last.

i was reading tmbinc`s info but i saw a pic with him having a eeprom just like the below chip accept different maker wired to the gc`s rom chip my problem is i need pinout bad like a conversion so i know where to put what... as eeprom pinouts are a bit diffrent.

my plan was to flash it with gcos or swiss.

(EDIT:> basicly just post as much as you can on tmbinc`s mod so i get a good picture of what is needed and what can be used etc Anything!.)

The fastest method would be to use the available XenoGC code to make your own modchip.

Only drawback, the chip you propose is not compatible since the released XenoGC code was compiled for the Atmega8 series and cannot be cross-compiled at this time...This means no current possibility to use any types of chips other than Atmega8 series...Yet, this would still be your fastest option if you want to continue your homemade project.

all info from below link.

(and sadly i cant get a modchip for my gc as i cant buy stuff online so unless i find a free one to be donated then i will have to figure out tmbincs method used in ninja mod chip.)

how much progress have you made on this project?

have you successfully compiled the source?
do you have a xilinx chip?
you only want the ability to add an epprom to the existing xilinx chip?
