Ralf, I think the video is trying to highlight that the behavior of the karts are different in fullscreen versus split-screen, not that you're unable to mix the two. The two split-screen clients are synchronized with each other and the two full-screen clients are synchronized with each other, but why are the dynamics of the karts different?
