Are these codes for MP v1.02? This is the only game that has been giving me trouble. I've tried running these on all three versions (1.00-1.02) and I've found that any/all master codes seem to crash either right at boot, or right after the text shows for what area I'm in when loading a game. If I don't use a master code, the game will generally load just fine, but the cheats still won't work for obvious reasons.

So far, I've tried most of the codes from GameHacking and the codes posted here (some of them are missing their names). I'm running Swiss v0.6r1362 through an SD2SP2 adapter on a DOL-001 NTSC-U console.

Hello. Thanks for testing the codes. I just tried them out and none of them worked except infinite health. I'm going to be removing all of these.

Not a problem, thanks for looking into it. Please let me know if you find a set that works for any of the three versions.

I need a working Moon Jump code for NTSC Metroid Prime 1 in Swiss. I've tried multiple codes and they all failed.

None of these worked in Swiss, but I think the first one works in Dolphin:

$Moonjump (Hold B)

$Moonjump 2 (Hold B)

$Moonjump 3 (Hold B)

I have issues with codes like these in Prime 1. Unfortunately I cant help.

Here is a link to get the widescreen HUD hack to patch the nkit.iso of this game.

I recently found these codes on Dolphin Forums. They were created years ago and surprisingly, nobody has shared them anywhere else online. They work the same as the previous widescreen code, but don't require the widescreen hack to be turned on. Parox's line of code is still in gamemasterplc's code so Parox's code was probably used as a basis, so I will still credit them.

I wanted to post four codes for Metroid Prime v1.00 here. Two are the appropriate Master Codes for the game and two are codes I made. Here are the Master Codes for everything, all thanks to goemon_guy:

Code: Select all

*First, press R+DPADUp. This will prevent you from falling whenever you break out of the map. This freezes your height in place, keeping you from descending. But, this makes it look like you've went up or down in height, even though you haven't (a visual bug). Then, hold L+DPADRight to go right, hold L+DPADLeft to go left, hold L+DPADUp to go forward, and hold L+DPADDown to go backwards.. You may need to hold L and right/left/up/down on the DPAD for about 5-10 seconds to break through a wall. If that doesn't work, try jumping up in the air once and then hold L and right/left/up/down DPAD. If that doesn't work, try to go to another place on the map and try holding L and right/left/up/down on the DPAD again. Whenever you want to be able to descend again, press R+DPADUp again. This will place you in height where you were previously, correcting the visual bug.

*After charging your beam, you can fire the charged shot as fast as you can pull the trigger. This is much faster than the rapid fire code.
**Cannot use missiles while this code is enabled.
