I feel the hype as well

Though i do wish eventually progress can be made for wiisx, especially since there's not exactly a "notsx" like there's a "not64"

Hey emu_kidid, can you tell us how well goldeneye multiplayer runs in the latest builds? Single player looks pretty perfect from that old video(even the sky is fixed, woo). And was curious about conkers furday and perfect dark speeds as well. Oh and will the source finally be released as well when the wii64 release happens? thanks for your time.

Yeah, a lot of the irritating bugs and major graphics and some Dynarec glitches, are fixed! If that's not something to hype about, then I don't know what is...

what i want besides the new release is that wii64 will be opensourced to github, that way people can fork it and start doing changes and improving the app.

Mario Party still has minor framebuffer problems, but that should be OK.. How was Extrems able to modify 1.1 in the first place?

Hey. I decided to join this forum just so i could say how much i apreciate all the effort put in this emulator

Ive discovered Not64 a few days ago, understood it came from Wii64, and now i know Wii64 has an almost ready new build that will be even better

Ive been playing Not64 a lot. Im impressed by how many games it got playable - even with some bugs, im having a lot of fun. Besides... there is something special about N64 games.... really, its not just nostalgia. Some of em really seem to have something that modern games missed along the way...

Im playing Goldeneye single player, and its totally playable. The music seems to slowdown in almost every level, the sky texture never works and some later levels with big open areas suffer from huge slowdow - not framerate, but a slowdown like slowmotion effect. Also later levels heve bizarre broken textures in the floor and other places.

Diddy Kong Racing is a game i used to hate back in the day. Now im loving it. The colors, man, the colors. They dont use colors anymore. The game runs fine in Not64, except the sea flickers to red in some places, some characters have a bizarre broken white bloom and the results screen also flickers its color to red

Anyway, im really excited about the new version of Wii64. I hope it releases soon so MORE PEOPLE can play these games again

Well, It's getting really close to the end of 2015. I think that the graphics plugins progress is very cool, because that's what was making most games unplayable. Not64 improved a LOT of Dynamic Recompiler core errors that the original Wii64 forgot to fix, and now Wii64 1.2 is going to vastly improve the graphics now, as well. How was the graphics plugins going to work, again? Hold up, let me recap-

-You merged the Dynarec code of Not64's with Wii64 1.1's code, and
-You merged both GLN64 and Rice for graphics plugins.

Is this correct? And did you do anything else to Wii64?

I think they also said the new beta would have Hi-res Textures feature as well, but IMHO I think that should be low priority.
The Rice/Glide Wii64 implementation along with the Not64 Dynarec speed up combo should be highest of priorities. XD

Custom/high-res textures are part of Rice and probably Glide as well.

I do hope it still is.
I am waiting anxiously for the upcoming merging of the Not64 improvements along with the Rice/Glide plugin versions of the emulator.
I am sure this will pretty much settle N64 emulation on the Wii for a long time.

I just hope we get at least some news soon. :)

I hate to be a Debbie downer but I can't believe people are still waiting for this. I gave up on it a while back. But then again, I still check in from time to time.

Beats me. :P

I wonder the same too.
I am still crossing my fingers for a release before October.

Or like the song says...
Wake Me Up When September Ends. :P

Wooot.
I just woke up after september ended and sadly nothing.
Well, I'll keep hoping for something within this year at least. :)

I think we will see N64 emulators for the WiiU before this one
