I was thinking about putting a switch in my GCN so i could play some old JPN games i have sitting around an i noticed something odd about my GCN:
R5 and R6 are swapped, i.e. R6 is occupied while R5 is not.
My board revision is DOL-CPU-20, does this change how it gets wired? If so how?
thanks in advance
EDIT:
This is the tut i was using:

also this is an NTSC-U Gamecube if that changes anything

Re: Region select switch mod.
it appears since the resistor locations are swapped, the circuit path just needs to be completed
just solder a lead from the top of the resistor @ R6 to the bottom empty pad @ R5
ok...i just performed a quick test connection to check..works fine using these solder points...
i used a DOL-CPU-11 which also had the resistor location swapped..
