Controller Modifications

i have a non working GameCube controller and i have stripped the wires out of it.

what could i do with the wires still having the GameCube controller connector?
convert to USB ? connect wires to another Controller that's not GameCube ?

Custom arcade board, cable extension, hookup some old school controller like n64,snes,nes,psx...

i'd like to do a PSX to GameCube but how simple is it to do ?

You can find some related infos at raphnet, but specifically for PSx2GCN isn't explained...

bought a PS/PS2 Controller Adapter for my GC, also work on Xbox if i had one...lol

kinda wish i could relabel the buttons. X > A, [] > B, ^ > Y, and O > X

X - A
[] - B
^ - Y
O - X
L1 - Z
L2 - Left
R1 - Z
R2 - Right
Start - Start

kinda confusing at times.
