Any rom that says "Growing NAND pagefile" ends up with an error and it goes to a black screen with a message that says this:
Exception (DSI) Occurred
(Insert numbers here)
Stack Dump
(More numbers)
Code Dump
(More numbers)
Reload
And it sends me back to the homebrew channel. What is going on? I'm thinking of just going back to Wii64... but it seems like most people haven't had this issue, so if there is a fix for that I'd appreciate it if someone can share some information here. I can't be the only one with this problem, but I haven't found anything else on the subject.
I tried different roms, I tried deleting and reinstalling Not64. I'm just not sure what the problem is. Some roms do work, but it's the ones that use NAND that never work.
Not64 - Issues loading roms with NAND
Re: Not64 - Issues loading roms with NAND
I had accidentally left in a bogus free()
This happens when you don't have enough space available on NAND.

I see, I figured that was the case. Is there anyway I can clear some space? Or am I SOL?

Nice to know. Btw if trying to clear space on NAND then uninstall some channels you ve added.
These can eat up a lot of memory. I use WadManager to add and uninstall channels.
Haven't heard much about Not64 as of late, theres changes with mupen64plus though
Good luck buddy

One quick n easy way to save nand space is to delete Forecast and News channels, as they are unfortunately no longer supported.
Use a program like anytitledeleter to do it.

Re: Not64 - Issues loading roms with NAND
Unfortunately that's not really worth the effort, most of the space taken up by those titles is in a +10MB shared content file (the map of the earth), and there are no homebrew "deleters" that properly remove shared content.
Re: Not64 - Issues loading roms with NAND
Woah, didn't know that, thanks. 10MB equals to ~80 blocks, right? All i know is that saved space from those 2 aforementioned channels comes from the part of the NAND that is inaccessible to the end user (i.e. not the 3500 blocks he has at his disposal, but from the rest that are reserved for the Wii's OS).
BTW how much space does Not64 use as a NAND pagefile? 16-32 MB?
Lastly, @theninz: i have a backup of an older Not64 revision which hadn't yet implemented NAND usage. You can use that temporarily: https://anonfiles.com/file/9d7d3b3bbb8c ... 0d3a394471
unzip and put it in your /apps folder (ignore the folder name, it is not64, no wii64)
