Zeno GC chip - custom install - with pics

Got some Zeno GC chips at the weekend as I've always fancied haveing a multi region GC.
Rather than fix directly to the board I wired from a fixed position at the side of the drive ( the fan plastic surround needed to be trimmed to fit it in the photo position ) then after marking the exact position where the chip sits I drilled the case and cut some plastic bar (4.5mm cocktail stirrer in this case) to length, drilled the outer case, the plastic bar is a push fit and sits tight and flush with the GC case, the other end if the bar sits right above the Zeno chip LEDs, when running the bar lights up and you can see from the outside what status the chip is at.
Worked out quite well I think .

Sexy, I always play in the dark so my duoq lights up the entire room just by being near the fan holes.

Yeah I put a fan light in my DC it lights up the shelf.
When it's off the clear bar soaks up some of the purple colour so it blends in perfectly with the case especially since it's flush with the edge.
