i buy an IDE-EXI by a user on this Forum
got a sata HDD with an SATA / IDE converter
now what i wanna know is,
did i must flash the IDE-EXI with a flashfile or is it ready to use?

i believe its just plug and play all you do is connect the hdd and provide power to the hdd then switch on your gamecube and launch swiss

i used a 120GB SATA HDD and this converter

The HDD ist FAT32 Format
and i have 3 ISO`s on it
i start swiss, but cant find something on the slot A or B

how did you power the harddrive and was it 3.5" also who did you buy it off and for how much because i want one lol

what version of swiss are you using for testing?
first you need to validate the IDE-EXI you got works...i recommend you do the following:
disconnect the adapter and sata hdd....put em away for now
get an IDE HDD and try that first
if you have any browser contents in showing in swiss under IDE-EXI, then you have validated 3 things:
1. the version of swiss you are using is working properly to display file browser contents
2. the IDE-EXI device works
3. the HDD works and is formatted properly
once you meet these three criteria, then you can swap out the IDE HDD or SATA HDD
