So looking through all the posts regarding how to wire the FFC cable the the Gamecube I got an idea I'd like to share with you all.
The two methods I've seen so far involve either soldering directly to the FFC itself or using a breakout board and moving the cable to one end so it matches up correctly with the pins. While both of these methods work for a lot of you guys, I was finding it difficult for me to get results I wanted.
I'm not sure if one of you guys already came up with this but here it goes anyway..
it involves using a breakout board and of course finding one with only 32 positions is impossible. The one I purchased has 34. I also stumbled upon this 32 pin FFC housing that can solder directly the the break out board http://www.newark.com/fci/62684-322100a ... egoryName=
I purchashed 5 of them about 9 bucks for the lot and shipping.
The pins match up flawlessly and should provide a solution for you novice solderers like me

Here's what I came up with after soldering to the board I hope this helps out some of you guys. Im gonna begin testing it as soon as my new FFC Cables come in from Badassconsoles (since i wrecked my others trying the soldering method -__-)
Any feedback/tips are appriciated!
