GCRebuilder deleting itself
I wanted to get into modding gamecube games, so I installed GCRebuilder. However, when I opened the exe file, it would open for a second then immedietly close and delete itself. I read somewhere that you should turn off real time protection and Windows Defender in general, so I did. Didn't fix a thing. I even excluded exe files in the "Exclusions" section and the problem still persists. Is there any way this can be fixed?

I think you posted in the wrong session ....
but come on: is only the execution of this application showing this problem? other homebrew apps, are they OK?
what windows do you use? from what I saw, it seems to be 10
Did you try to click on the application properties to try to activate Windows compatibility mode?
you can try to run it in administrator mode.
in Windows defender, try not to disable it; instead, place the homebrew program on W.defender's exclusion list. ... so you will not be affected by it.
try it out there, maybe someone more senior than me can tell you more about ...
