One of them is of course Shadow the Hedgehog.
However, I have encountered a grave issue being that the c-stick side look controls appear to be inverted and without a way to change it.
I have scoured the internet for AR/Gecko codes to help amend this through the use of Nintendonts cheat system, but to no avail.
My options that Im assessing at the moment are as follows:
- Manually modify the game files and change c-stick behavior within the game files.
- Create my own AR/Gecko codes to counter-invert c-stick behavior externally.
- Create a physical Gamecube controller modification to invert c-stick output by enabling an intermediary board to alter the resistance value of the c-stick potentiometer
I have little to no idea of the games internal architecture or hierarchy beyond basic stage and character layout.
As far as physical controller modification goes, its seeming the easiest of them since it would be a basic physical bypass switch and a small custom PCB.
This is clearly a task with many layers and potential routes for solutions, but I wish to see it through, both for myself and other people who wish to play the edgehog game in comfort.
All advice, suggestions, resources, and especially personal experiences are both welcome and needed.
