So without further ado:

I'll admit the fan I ended up using is a bit louder than I wanted. The video makes it seem really bad though because for w/e reason the fan sounds louder when the unit is laying against something... like my legs in the video. Its really not as bad as it seems in the video though. Once you start a game up and turn the sound on a bit I don't even notice the fan running. I had planned to use some ATI GPU cooling fans that I had laying around which were much quieter, both fans died though. One after it was already mounted in the case.... that was fun...emu_kidid wrote:looking good there in the video. I watched it without sound for now but I'll see it properly when I get home. Two others who saw it were totally amazed, but both said the same thing "fan sounds a bit loud".
Hmmm... I'm not sure exactly how long it took me. I started work on both units right after the Wiikey discovery was made by Zenloc though. I'd say its been a solid 2 months or so of planning and work on both units. Production should go a bit smoother now that I have an idea what I'm doing ;P I have to admit these first two units are my first experience in portable making, so there have been some trials and "bumps in the road".sumas wrote:![]()

I just jizzed on my pants,Ashen wrote:Thats the plan. I will be revising my design a bit though. I'm not sure how quicly I will be able to produce them but like I said, it should go a bit faster now that I have a bit of experience now. I know Zenloc also has plans to produce a bunch of his own design and he is a very talented expetience modder as well. Once I get these ones complete you guys here will be the first to know of my plans for the future
Thanks so much for all the positive feedback everyone!
