Swiss 0.1
Re: Swiss 0.1
That's quite awesome actually. I'm really hoping that the implementation will happen some day, that will certainly justify the purchase of a WODE.

Re: Swiss 0.1
infact, how's the GUI going?
Side note, I've been optimizing the SD read code as well as relocating all the patch codes to the top 16Kb RAM area for the past week or so.

Re: Swiss 0.1
I hope it will be able to use the read code in both places, just asking to be sure. Can you test Starfox Adventures and 007 Agent under Fire with this? Lowering the available memory for these 2 didn't work for me directly, got me an error in the apploader. Which is why i do the memory setup after the apploader, and i have to move bi2 and fst.
Re: Swiss 0.1

Sweet! now we have a team effort. Can't wait to see more. I'm getting my new wii by friday and setting swiss up imeadiately after I install all the latest cIOS and bring all the apps up to date and setup my System menu and all my channels ect. Also need to install all my old VC titles and a working disc drive need to be installed... Ok It's on my list of things to do.
What was the current revision again? still 52 right?

Re: Swiss 0.1
This is very strange. I tried loading FZero.iso pal and it gives an error after pressing Boot.
I have swiss renamed to start.dol in my SDgecko SD root, and fzero inside a folder (I also tried in root).
I insert SDGecko, insert an original wii game, go to HBC, run GCBooter. Then Swiss loads up, and I can configure the rest, I tried slot b and a, and fast and compatibility mode, info tells me it should boot, and 2Gb SD is FAT16 already defragmented. Does this game have any problem? I could run it with SD Boot 0.4 final but after 2 races I lost music, and then screen turned to black...

Re: Swiss 0.1
It's too hard for FinalBurn to run CPS3 games on XBOX, so it is also impossible to run 3rd strike at full speed via FinalBurn or MAME emulator on Gamecube.emu_kidid wrote:heh, unrelated but FYI, 3rd strike is CPS3

Did I say it wasn't?emu_kidid wrote:heh, unrelated but FYI, 3rd strike is CPS3

Re: Swiss 0.1
Finally got around to trying my harddrive setup again, and still no luck. Swiss says that all my files are fragmented, and I'll get a code dump screen if I try to boot anything.
Harddrive I'm using: Western Digital WD800LB-55DNA0 80GB.

Re: Swiss 0.1
It's working for me, but I have serious sound issues. Using latest Swiss revision and the 1:1 dumped PAL version not shrunked on a Wii with a 2GB Sandisk card. Tried both 16Mhz and 32Mhz. Can anyone confirm those sound issues or is it maybe my SD card?Slab of concrete wrote:F-Zero GX - working
Edit: Is F-Zero an audio streaming game?
Re: Swiss 0.1
I didn't notice any sound issues neither from SD or HDD beside the "normal" occasional audio glitches the first 1-2 second a new screen/scene is loaded, which happens in most games. (I don't know if it has a name, but it's been there since the BBA-streaming days)

Re: Swiss 0.1
Same with me with Mario Kart Double Dash. I use a San Disk 2GB SD card, too, but for me only 16Mhz works so far. And I'm thinking that it is the SD Card, maybe too slow but I bought that piece just a few days ago.Cubelover wrote:It's working for me, but I have serious sound issues. Another thing is that a FAT16 formatted card is not working.
Besides, how does swiss handle the DVD-R boot option other than a modchip or is it the same? I tested Zelda Four Swords Adventure with no problem at all, completed it. F-Zero GX just gives me a DRE after creating a save slot on the memory card.
Re: Swiss 0.1
Anyone tested MGS The Twin Snakes? The disc 2 won't play ;_;
After Konami screen, I got this error:

I finished the first disc with no problem (works beautifuly).
ps: tested with and without pre-patcher, on gamecube.

I can't get the game to work with 32 Mhz. I get this screen too.

32Mhz. You have to pre patch the disc 1 first.Chun-kun wrote:Whith what setting did you play the first disc?Ardiloso wrote:Anyone tested MGS The Twin Snakes? The disc 2 won't play ;_;

Re: Swiss 0.1
I did but it's still not working. Does it play a role which region it is?
Re: Swiss 0.1
Mine is NTSC-U, I don't know about other regions. Finished the disc 1 perfectly, now i'm just dying to play the other half of the game.Chun-kun wrote:I did but it's still not working. Does it play a role which region it is?

It's my preparation for this: http://wp.clicrbs.com.br/canaldosgames/ ... hdcapa.jpg
