Swiss Nightly Build
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Which swiss revision are you running ? If it's <300 then update swiss, the adapter has nothing to do with compatibility. WKF/WASP is buggy as hell, Swiss r321 adds a workaround that issue.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Thanks for the fast answer!
I installed the newest nightly build on my wiikey fusion. I tried four or five different adapters, but none of them worked.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Thanks, that worked! Card came preformated as exFAT and that was one thing I totally forgot to check.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I wish pokemon colosseum worked.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
You can play this game in Dolphin instead, it has almost no compatibility issues.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
^^ emulation hasn't the same feel.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Whatever, I'm just giving you a way to play the game. Remember that the GameCube isn't as much of a retro console as the older ones, and you can play with real GC controllers in Dolphin. I like to play GC games on hardware too but when it doesn't work I just go to Dolphin. It does the job well and you can easily recreate the "retro feel" with a CRT monitor if you want to.
If you don't like my solution, either burn the game or buy a legit copy.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
How install Swiss?
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
The first step is having a method to load homebrew. Options vary depending on whether it's via SD card or boot disc.Ultor wrote:How install Swiss?
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I use SD Gecko
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Anyone know where i can download older versions of swiss?
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
OK that covers the hardware part. The next step is having software to activate it, such as SD Media Launcher.Ultor wrote:I use SD Gecko
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
SD Media Launcher... for Wii?
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Don't bother with Swiss if you have a Wii, use Nintendon't.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Don't works... says "Failed to load kernel from NAND"
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
You're probably doing something wrong with the setup. This thread isn't the place for nintendont support though, I suggest you double check everything then ask somewhere else.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Ha, I haven't checked the package contents in a while since I've been building Swiss myself since it moved to git.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
The first release Swiss 0.3 was r174. What was the first release version of Swiss 0.4?
Thx

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Sorry if this can be a stupid question, but is there a way to compile the fzn for WKF/Wasp by myself, starting from the scratch? Or is it something that can only be done by The Masters?
Thank you!

Thank you!

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
yes, but why would you want to?
as long as you can boot swiss using any method, even a wasp with very old swiss on flash, then you can always launch the latest dol without even have to flash wasp...
the biggest problem is if you create the flash incorrectly and corrupt your wasp...the recovery iso might not even work at that point and you would have to restore using alternate methods..
