what do you mean by "Attempts to cover 2D graphics."? Do you mean that it will attempt not to stretch 4:3 HUD elements to 16:9?

Can you make a WiikeyFusion build which can be flashed into WKF chip?

Extrems thanks for that. I appear to have a problem where I can't mount the second SD card. When I try the files that are shown are from the first card if that makes sense.

Expect some functionality to be broken or unstable.

I'd like more explanation on what "Soft Progressive" does, as I don't understand.
By the way, what do I need to do to make 576p work on my Wii? WiiPower isn't around and I don't know where to grab the source code.

It should work if you have the Homebrew Channel 1.1.2 and using any PAL video mode.

Really? I'll give it a try now! Been a while since I updated the Homebrew Channel.
EDIT: It updated me to version 1.1.0 of the Homebrew Channel. Is 1.1.2 not out yet? At any rate, 576p didn't work.

Please retest 480p/576p forcing with all games.

Could you give us your reasoning behind that query, Extrems? It might help in knowing what to look for.

I tested some games on my Wii before going to bed last night:
- Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II: same as before, loses signal and switches to interlaced after Hz selection screen
- Metroid Prime 2: still crashes
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time bonus disc: Mute Audio Streaming has to be set to No for the background music in the launcher to work. Otherwise it's the same as before; launcher works, games boot in 480i.
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: the glitched line in the middle has been eliminated. Now there's a small indigo line at the bottom instead. Also, it no longer crashes after checking your inventory. The game has been optimised for 50Hz, though, so it runs a little too fast at 480p. (looks like you already tested this game with r213 and put it on the wiki)
Of these, I only tested Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles at 576p, which still didn't work for me.

High priority:
- Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, 576p
- F-Zero GX, 576p
- Lost Kingdoms, 576p
- Mario Tennis, 576p
- Metroid Prime, 480p
- Resident Evil, 480p

More testing:
- Wario World: there used to be a clipping problem on the bottom part of the screen, but no more! There's a thin greenish line at the bottom instead. Good work, Extrems!

- Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly: the bottom part of the screen is cut off as before. The top part is also cut off, which I think is new.
- Metroid Prime: nothing happens, the game doesn't boot

PSO etc are most likely prepatcher related

r214 prevents some unwanted upscaling on 480p.
Possible regressions with hypothetical antialiased PAL titles.

Should I retest the games, then? I'm willing to test anything, provided that I have it (though I can't seem to get 576p).

been using it on my Wii and I love the new features. There is this weird thing how when I load SDgecko slot B it says; "failed to create config file" or something like that. It's fixed by removing the SD adapter and putting it back in. I have to do this every time I use Swiss.
Tales of Symphonia looks good with the new widescreen feature, but when you bring up the Y menu the widescreen camera is letterboxed to 4:3 but the menu stays 16:9, so you have a squished image with black bars on the sides.

Both
F-Zero GX and
Lost Kingdoms work fine at 576p using r214.

Since it seems like you're doing a ton of work to the video end of Swiss Extrems, do you think you could take a look at why forcing PAL games to "NTSC" (480i) isn't working on NTSC cubes? I've tried about 10 or so PAL titles, and none of them can be forced to 480i. :/

Something interesting I failed to mention: my Batman Begins disc is being detected as an NTSC disc. What's more, when I force 480p the game asks me if I want to use progressive scan. Yet both the box and the disc itself are marked as PAL!
