Okay so I recently found a Clear Viper top on eBay (has the LEDs on top) and it didn't come with the bottom part. Does anybody know where I can find the clear bottom for this? If not I'm considering just getting an indigo/clear controller and a black controller so I can make a Black/clear controller to match my cube. The base is black if you didn't get that. Lol

I can add a picture when I get home if you like.

Did Viper cases even come with a bottom? I thought they were tops only...

All the ads I've seen showed tops only. I've seen some bottoms but I maybe they're made separately?

I've seen listings that showed they once could be ordered with the bottom. They aren't available anymore of course. I've been mulling over my idea of making a black and clear with matching controller. I figured the bottom would be hard to find, though I thought I'd ask.

it all started with tops only. later on there were a few manufacturers that had full cases, like icedcube and xcm.
it will be next to impossible for you to find a clear bottom only. try searching for a full clear case, thats difficult enough!

maybe we need to do a fundraiser to make our own cases once and for all..

I would not rely on a home owned 3d printer for the case unless its someone with lots of experience and dedication to making the case..

Was doin my usual eBay searching for stuff I don't need and I found a seller who has the full DVD top halves for your gamecube. They appear to be unbranded? No insert for gamecube jewel. Looks as if you can only place a sticker. Quite expensive, you have been warned! Lol...

Seller also has indigo. In my opinion it's not worth it but I know these are hard to come by these days. Just place them on watch and when they don't sell, the price could be lowered. You never know.

These are the one i own for my first GC mod.
They are quite good, but the cover sometime remains half-shut when you want to open it, due to some contact between cover and shell.

I think they're the hashtrap brand cases, they were horrible from what I remember in iso420 Brakk3n reviews back in 2005
