Hello. I'm new here.
After lurking through the various forums for a while, I've finally decided to post.
I've already started the portable a while ago, but I have nothing to do right now so, why not?
Also, I work slowly. So, I thought making a worklog might make me work a little faster.
Current specs:
OMGWTF cut board
WASP fusion (flashed with autoboot swiss)
7.4v 5ah lipo batteries
3.5" screen
Custom regulators
internal SD gecko
1019 internal memory card
3ds sliders
Full analog triggers
NDS lite buttons
Rough dimensions (LxWxH): 75mm x 140mm x 40mm
progress so far:
I found theese index card boxes at walmart and thought they could make a good case. So, I bought a few.
General placement of the bottom half of the case:
Heatsink:
Comparison:
Screen:
Motherboard:
Triggers:

There will be progress posted when it is had,

Why didn't you put the tact switches on the end of the analog triggers ?

I will be adding them later, after the rest of the controls.

ANY wiikey fusions or wasp fusions anywhere!

Hey Oaisus, nice work. Coming along nicely.
Where did you get those triggers - they look like they can provide partial trigger functionality.. I may not be able to fit the controllers gizmo that handles that job in my case.. would love a set of them.
Cheers

Thanks heaps, I owned dreamcast a few years back. Went through some boxes and found 3 aftermarket controllers - 2 were brand new

First one I opened had the exact same sliders! Far better feeling joystick too!

Since nothing is soldered there, I am assume it is correct.
Edit: sorry guy below (not going back to check name cant bother), didnt see the component. My vision isnt the best. I though there were two empty solder points, but i was very wrong.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what you're trying to say...
There is a component in the red circle.

No way above 5v will probably fry the IC.
If you have 5v, ground, and left and right audio wired cofrectly the amp should do the rest and volume control should work

Hello internet. I'm back.
As you may have noticed, I disappeared after only about a week of posting. This will happen often, however probably not to quite to the same degree. Eight months is a bit extreme...
Anyway, here's some super sexy case work:
From this
To this
More later, I can't be bothered to dig things up right now.
