USB Gecko PCB Information

Post by avanomi » Sun May 11, 2014 1:03 pm

I've been looking at building a USB Gecko myself, and ran into the problem of what the thickness of the PCB is? Can someone assist me in finding out? I know it's between 0.5mm and 1.6mm

I'd say it's better if you make it thinner as you'd just need to pad it with some plastic underneath near the EXI connector.

If you get it working please let us know, from what I know the code on the googlecode page isn't complete/up to date?

I went with 1.6mm which is the width of a gold finger board. I figure that should be thin enough. I will also let you guys know for sure. I should have a prototype ready in the coming weeks, and will show the details off and whether it works or not.

Also, it's nice to see you're still active.

Edit: If someone can confirm that the software is complete enough to work, please let me know, as I don't think I can reprogram it once it's done. I'm working with the original USB Gecko parts, rather than the SE.
