Hi Guy,

I have been following this forum for over a year and I am really amazed on what you guys have done. I bought a WODE. I wanted to do the same thing, but it did not work out has well. I mean I have completely destroyed 3 gamecube. Luckily, I have been finding them at thrifts stores for under 10$. I basically gave up until I saw the news for badassconsoles. I bought a mega v3 and I have to report, that it is too easy with that. it only took me 3 days from start to finish! It is my first completely finished one, so it is still a bit messy.

I used a momentary tact switch but I used it as always open and attached it so that when the lid closed the switch is pressed.
I decided to not use the SD and only the usb HHD attached on the side with velco.

haha!!!
i like that look....
gives me a few ideas....hopefully one day ill have time to work on my own consoles
3 days for a full build is pretty good....and wode too, the most challenging install

btw, does the wode allow audio streaming like a real disc?

It doesn't but since it's way better than a WKF from a technical point of view, it could.

I mean, apart from the awesome display and button combo.

Only WODE allows proper passthru of audiostreaming
WKF/WASP need MEGAwire mod or similar

It has a fricking ARM CPU on it. The WKF is just an FPGA.

Yea the hdd was coving about Half of the vent. I was playing for about 3 hours
without any heat issue but still going to move it out of the vent.

It only took 3 days but that is because I spent 4 months doing the wiring in my head and paper
I mainly picked wode because I could attach a harddrive instead of swapping sd cards.

Looks awesome, I guess this means some of the MEGA stuff has started shipping!! I'm excited.

You will only get audiostream when using passthrough mode (dvd) via the wode, and not with the wode alone(+hdd).

Just if I interpreted it correctly. Personally no clue.

What I mean is, the WODE has the hardware capabilities, it just needs to be implemented in the firmware.

O.K.!
But i think there will never be a new firmware...
(maybe unoffical but not an offical one...)

It doesn't have the hardware capabilities since it has no output pin for dvd audio.
