I recently came into possession of a japanese d-terminal gamecube cable and I'm pretty positive you could get the component signals signals out of it (correct me if I'm wrong), but would the cable work with a north american cube? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'd just try it out, but I figured before I got the soldering iron out I would see if it'd be worth it to open it up.
Thanks guys!

Yes, it works on any GameCube with a digital output. Just buy three chinch-connectors and warm up your soldering iron.

You could also get an adapter cable, but soldering is probably cheaper: http://www.solarisjapan.com/d-terminal- ... able-male/

Resale value is probably higher with an adapter and an untouched cable though.TPSNT wrote:You could also get an adapter cable, but soldering is probably cheaper: http://www.solarisjapan.com/d-terminal- ... able-male/
