So I just recently got the Homebrew Channel, Homebrew Browser, and the Wii64 emulator (V1.1).
But I've been wanting to "upgrade" to Not64 as everyone says it has better compatibility. The problem is I can't find any steps for how to properly "mod" the Wii64 into Not64 with the downloaded files on my SD card.
Noob Question - Wii64 to Not64
Re: Noob Question - Wii64 to Not64
Rename the wii64 folder on the root of your sdcard or usb drive / stick to not64,
then copy and replace from not64 the boot.dol, meta.xml and icon.png into the apps/wii64
folder, lastly rename the apps/wii64 folder to apps/not64, you can do all this on your computer or you can use wiiexplorer just make sure you set the boot options to ios58 for usb 2.0 support.

Ok I did that with those files, but what about the not64.dol and source.patch file?
Re: Noob Question - Wii64 to Not64
I'm not overly familiar with the .patch format unix or linux, a brief look over the file looks like it applies source code changes to individual files in a grouped list, you probably need to dl all the sourcecode files, put the patch in the root of the folder with said files and run the patch, then compile the dol with devkitpro.

I'm pretty sure the dol included in the package is already patched, the source patch is just for developers so you shouldn't need it.

Re: Noob Question - Wii64 to Not64
Not64 included DOL is patched, there's nothing you need to patch. The DOL in the root dir is the GameCube build.
