Cable extender for laser diode

I considering modifying the case of my Gamecube, but the current design is pretty restrictive. I would like to be able to move the DVD drive. I plan on doing this by extending the cables between the DVD drive board and the motors/diode part of the drive.

I have found decent replacements for the laser power cable and the disc motor cable.(The red and brown wires and the white ribbon cable).

I was hoping that somebody knew of a company that sold extenders for laser ribbon cables.(The orange cable) It appears to be a standard DVD cable, so I hope that some company has produced these.

good luck finding one, those cables are quite expensive and custom too.

Its fairly cheap. I bought them and am using them in my portable Gamecube.
