Best GC mod?

Hi

I did buy my fist Game Cube yesterday PAL version with USA region games and I would want to knwo which is best way to run them on PAL console
is it XenoGC mod (I can build one my self) or Freeloader disk (Can I find it somewhere and burn to disk or do I have to b uy it?) or something else?

XenoGC will let you play games region free without any disc swapping. If region free is all you need and don't mind soldering, it's the best bang for your buck.

By itself, Freeloader has to be bought. XenoGC enables burned disks too.
USA region games should just work. For Japanese games, try using Swiss (they play better when the language/encoding is corrected)

Only a handful of games actually need that, and you'll notice the problem right away. Switching a console to Japanese mode will require an extra memory card as the format is incompatible (running games on a PAL or US console with a Xeno without further mods/Swiss will use ANSI mode so you don't need to worry about it).

I did puild XenoGC diy clone last night some reason ISP didnt work at alla well I did program it with Arduino uno board and USBTiny programmer.
Some reason XenoAT 1.05 fw didnt work I got Disc read errors from USA disks but older XenoGC 1.01.V2 did work fine
But some reason red led just lids if I power GC with memory card :-/ if I plug it when red turns to green it works fine.
Anyway I can run games now but I will take a look at swiss too.
