and if so, where am i to insert the cable.

Get the N64/GC RF modulator, find an antenna coax to screw post adapter, connect it to VHF screw posts, then set one channel to the same channel your RF switch is, then you're done!

It may not be the ultimate Trinitron experience, but if the tuner is decent enough, you may get wayyy better results than what seen on some AV to HDMI Nintendo dedicated crap off Alix.
