Hi, I'm new here. I was wondering whether an SD Gecko could be used as a substitute for a memory card.
I used to play Gamecube all the time, and just recently got back into it. I'm currently in the process of getting the stuff to play backups, and while I have an existing memory card, my question was whether I would be able to use an SD Gecko as a substitute for the standard Gamecube memory card. I want to do this because back when I used to play Gamecube regularly, I lost my primary memory card that had my 50+ hour save for Tales of Symphonia, Super Smash Bros Save, and a few more minor saves. My point is, I'd like to have a way to back up my saves so I don't have to relive that experience.
Thanks for any feedback, long live Gamecube.

Not yet, but I am working on porting some code to do this which crediar has written to do a similar thing on Wii (via IOS).
