I’ve been searching for some Action Replay codes for the NTSC-U version of Resident Evil 4 (GameCube) that either were never made or may have been lost over time.
- So far I’ve found working codes for:
Infinite Ammo
Infinite Health
Force Equip Chicago Typewriter
Pause Timer
Increased Enemy HP
Ralf’s Mercenaries Nightmare modes
A code to increase or remove the enemy spawn cap in Mercenaries mode.
A way to disable enemy ammo drops in Mercenaries.
With infinite ammo enabled, I’ve basically turned Mercenaries into a chaos sandbox. The only limitation I’m running into is that once I clear the map, I have to reset because of the spawn cap.
I’ve done a little live memory editing (ammo values, etc.), but I don’t have programming or PowerPC assembly experience. I also tried searching for weapon IDs without much success.

If anyone has information, documentation, or advice on where the Mercenaries spawn logic is handled, I’d appreciate it. If it’s not possible via AR, that’s fine too — I just wanted to ask before giving up on the idea.
