true modchips may be getting harder to come by...

I think he wants to prepare hin own xeno gc with the source code and an atmel atmega8l µC. And he doesnt know what he has to do.
So you need a programmer for the atmega and a program on your PC for example bascom to program your atmega with the hex file out of the rar file from the source code.
then you only have to soldere it inside your cube.

why not? it's a modification chip. just it's more specific to call it a drivechip.
