Hi there, guess someone here will be able to answer my question.

Is it possible to boot/run programs from SD card without using DVD drive on Gamecube with basic version of Viper GC installed?

Also, I heard that SWISS can be installed as a Viper GC plugin, is it possible with basic version of Viper GC? If it is, may you please provide me with some how-to telling me how to do it?

I thought that even if basic version of Viper GC cannot boot straight from SD Card I can install SWISS as a plugin, start SWISS from Viper BIOS menu and than use my SD Card normally from SWISS. Am I right?

Put SDLoad on your ViperGC as a plugin. If ViperGC lets you bypass the DVD Initialization, then you can load SDLoad, then load Swiss and play some games.

Go Cobra->SDLoad Plugin->Swiss.

Sorry for replying old topic but I was thinking about better way of booting Swiss on my original ViperGC. Swiss is too big to install is as a Cobra plugin but it might be possible to write small application which will autoboot DOL from Memory Card:
Cobra Bios -> Load Plugin -> (new app without any GUI) -> Swiss.

SDLoad needs to select file to boot first which is inconvinient if you don't use other homebrew (or you can load them through Swiss).

Is there something similiar? Some advices? I can try to code it myself.
