I had another problem earlier, where the game wouldn't load on my sd card even though it always worked fine before. It happened when I moved the software away, even though I did format the card. I managed to get around it, but I'd have to format the SD card every time I would want to load TP. I emulated my memory card since I had do swap sd cards in slot A, and I used this method to get all the way to the part where you look for the statues. So far I moved one and got one of the characters, the one in Kakariko Gorge. Then as I was heading to the Bridge of Eldin I decided to save and quit. But now whenever I try to load the file, it immediately crashes. The only other errors I found was the game freezing when either using Ooccoo or playing the STAR game. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using a class 4, 4GB Kingston SDHC card.

I've been using an emulated mc since I started loading TP and I never had any issues with it. There is a slight stutter when actually saving but it gets the job done. The only real problem I had with the game was the fact that it stopped loading ever since I moved the files and formated the card. Now I have to format and replace the ISO every time I want to load it, but now it crashing as soon as I load the save.

What I'm asking is, what version of Swiss are you using? It sounds horribly outdated!

I'm using Swiss 0.3, though I don't know what revision. It came with Gcos 1.5, and I used it ever since.

No, I didn't buy this. I was introduced to swiss via a tutorial on how to load GameCube backups, and the description had a download that contained Gcos 1.5. It also came with Swiss 0.3.

That is ancient, I recommend you use an actual memory card and the latest released swiss build from viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1375

OK then, and I'm assuming there is no way to add my emulated save to my actual memory card?

It'll be a pain to start over again.

Start a new save as a .gci in Dolphin or something (just enough to make sure it creates a .gci) and upload it here, I can merge your old save in for you.

Here is a fresh new file. With no save data on it.

Ive seen some homebrew apps but they require a Wii, I no longer have one.

Use GCMM, it works on the cube.

OK I added it to my memory card but it still doesn't seem to load it. Am I missing something else? Does it have to do with where and/or when I saved?

I tried to load it with the latest revision and it wouldn't even load my SD card. It would load the 2GB Sanddisk but not the 4GB HC Kingston.

Can you see the save I gave you in the GameCube BIOS memory card manager?

Still shouldn't gcmm only support regular sd not sdhc or the others?

What ? I only use an sdhc with my GameCube, GCMM works fine.

No I used my regular sd to transfer the gci. I'm using an sdhc to load twilight princess.

Yes, it does show up in the bios.

The game itself loads fine. It's just when I enter file 1. It will stay black, I feel as if it was where I saved.

could be a bug with Swiss, guess I'll need to try the same file here.

If the game shows you the save from the memory card and lets you load it then it has a correct checksum/etc, any fault would either be with Swiss or your ISO file at this point. Can you try from an original disc or DVD-R?

I no longer have a copy of the game nor do I have any GameCube based DVD-R's.

I actually have to format my SDHC and put a fresh new copy from the Rar file every time I want to load Twilight Princess. I won't let me load it after the first time.

It might be the version of swiss I'm using, I'll check on that with other revisions aside from the latest. I'm not sure if I tried the version of swiss that the compatibility list recommended for the game. Tomorrow I'll hope and see.

I just tried it with swiss 0.3 r174 and still no luck. My other best guess is that it could be the ISO like you said.

Ill try to download another ISO but other than that I'm out of ideas.

Make sure your ISO matches the md5 sum on redump.org. I may be able to test this over the weekend.

Would have given it a try but I have a PAL copy and this is ntsc.

Apperently, even starting a new game wont work. I tried another ISO and still no luck. I switched to a 16GB microsd card BTW.
