Ultimate Spider-Man game for GameCube too hard.

Hi guys. I recently downloaded an emulator and play the Ultimate Spider-Man game for GameCube on it. I am really frustrated because after playing the game for some time, I have just not been able to finish these races with ultimate times in this game. Any tips or tricks? How long should it typically take a person to beat all the races on ultimate and how many hours a day should I devote to this game?

All I know is ultimate spiderman had some nice virtual memory use
