Feel free to describe the best Gamecube moment(s) you can remember..
If you're like me, there's probably more than one, my top few would have to be:
1. Buying the GC on release date with Wave race, Rogue Leader II, Luigis Mansion, 4 controllers and playing it all for the first time

2. Finding out Zelda - Master Quest was coming to GC and then playing it!
3. Borrowing PSO I&II from blockbuster after buying a BBA to backup my games
4. Running my first backup over the animal crossing loader (with slowdowns and all)

2- Playing my first backup game, Zelda Colector Edition
3- I used to spend all the day playing the best game in the world: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I was suposed to be studing, but no.
4- Runing Genesis and SNES emulators and playing amazin games, like Earth Worm Jim, Pitfall the Mayan Adventure, Rock N` Roll Racing, Sonic 3...
5- The most amazing time was playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 2 or 3 days after the release!!!!
6- And was oh so amazing when nintendo announced Twilight Princess for GameCube!!
I cant imagine my gaming life withouth the cube, for me, its the funniest and the best system from its generation!

I've found some good deals on Craigslist. In one deal, I got 4 platinum wavebirds, 3 games (Mario Baseball and two others that I can't remember), and 2 251 memory cards for $50.
If you want to play more than 2 players, wireless is definitely the way to go. I always hated untangling the cords.

i have bought the xbox 1 console on release date. i was the only one in my class who has bought the xbox console. i sold it 1 year later and bought me a gamecube. the console was very good. my favourit was zelda the wind waker.
after a couple of time i have sold the gamecube and bought me an xbox again. there i have heard about the xbmc and it became my favourite console. in 2005 i bought a gamecube again and soldered in a viper gc extreme.
today bothe consoles are still in my room and i love to play with them. this two are the consoles of my generation. more i dont need.

* Playing PSO. (Yes! Actually playing the game, not using the exploit. Go figure!)

Ahh, must have played that game online over 200 hours on GC.. I'm still playing it today, but the Blue Burst edition with Episode 4 on PC. (since 2006 and still going strong)
* Other than that. Fun times on Mario Kart: Double Dash!! with friends on the couch (but MK64 is still my favourite!) and playing the American version of Resident Evil 4 two or three months before EU release date.
* When I ordered Wind Waker online and got surprised to see the game in my mailbox three whole days before release!
* Playing Twilight Princess 1 month before release. In Japanese but still. Played until Water Temple then I converted the save to US edition with some homebrew.
* And most recently (this past summer) Enjoying Resident Evil remake for the first time. (and by 2010 STILL be impressed by the graphics of this 2002 game!)
* Oh and in highschool we played a lot of super smash brothers or naruto gmt4 on the school tv between periods. (sometimes we had 3 or 4 hours or so between classes)
We brought one gamecube and our own controllers and took turns playing. Sometimes there were over 20 people joining in! (taking turns/mini-tournament)

i had so much fun with that game, close to 100hrs offline and probably twice as long online on dreamcast/pc/gamecube
Resident Evil 1 is truly a work of art. Shame i deleted my invisible mode save file just before the last boss...

When Resident Evil 4 came out, me and a friend on mine both bought it.
Then, he would come over to my house, with a TV, and his gamecube, and we would play it side-to-side on hard mode. Copying the save of the person who had the most items/health etc.

In that way it was kinda like 'co-op'.
Played this way for hours, and hours.
Also, I hope my new favorite Gamecube time will come soon: 8-player Mario Kart LAN.
