is this for windows or linux
Re: How do you burn Gamecube games?
megalomaniac: it depends heavily on the burner and dvd medium, personally i wouldn't suggest so high speed.
lost43: linux.
EDIT: For example the burner in my working bench pc, does not burn them right even with 1x speed, whereas my main pc burner does the same dvd brand fine.

The good one here is a TSST one (Toshiba/Samsung), the other a pioneer one, but as said it varies a lot.

Different speeds, different results. 200 ohms can be too high for your media: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=375, I use Verbatim ones that serve well: http://www.voelkner.de/products/49737/V ... -Prin.html (media code = CMC MAG AF01, seems popular: http://club.myce.com/f33/gamecube-blank ... ia-229874/). All modern burners I used had to burn at least with 4x, and 4x works fine (for example LiteOn iHAS124). Old iMac Pioneer at 1x or 2x works fine too. Last but not least: use open source to burnlost43 wrote:Ashen@ yes i did i am siting at 200 the funny part all so i only have 2 burnt games working all so

Another thing you can try is taking a black or dark permanent marker and drawing a line at the end of the disk, on the surface. See image.
The part you want to colour is from the edge of the label to the outer edge of the disk. This isn't a cure-all solution but it worked amazingly well for me! So don't toss those discs in the trash yet!
