Dun dun dun! I thought I would revive this thread.
Anyways, I've finished many gamecube titles over the years. I thought I would go ahead and give my insight on them here.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (MQ Bonus disc)
despite owning the v1.0 collector's edition cart for the n64 of oot, the first time I ever finished Ocarina of Time was on the Master Quest gamecube disc, and man it was a blast. Playing off and on it took me about 5-6 months until I finally completed the game, but it was certainly one of the best games I've played in my life. Very fun, if you haven't played it (which honestly, who hasn't) I definitely picking up a copy. The cheapest you'd find would probably be the n64 version for about $30+.
Sonic Adventure DX
Despite being immensely glitchy, the game was decent overall. I loved the fact that there were many playable characters, which pretty much motivated me to play the game 'cause I wanted to play as Big so much lol.
Phantasy Star Online: Ep. I&II
a very underrated gc title, one of if not the best gc game I've played. Seriously, it's incredible. Stop being lazy, raise $40 or so dollars, and buy this game. Or pirate it. I don't give a shit.
Luigi's Mansion
Another one of my favorite gc classics, a lot better than its sequel if you ask me. Oh, also, "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarioooooooooooooooooo?"
Super Mario Sunshine
There hasn't been a mario game I've played to date that hasn't impressed me. I remember staying up late at night, being around 4-5 years-old staying up playing this game with my brother, boy was it a blast...unfortunately I've never 100%'d it though. If I ever get time, I ought to go back and do that.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
This game is awesome, don't get me wrong, it's just when I sit here and thank about it...I didn't enjoy it no where near as much as Brawl. My brother and I basically unlocked all the characters, then we got bored of it.
Ed, Edd 'n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures
Terrible graphics, annoying ass enemies, useless teammates, stupid, nonsensical missions, TERRIBLE GAME. Need I say more? I honestly haven't played a game by Midway that was anywhere close to decent, with the exception of the next game I'm about to list.
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Despite being developed by midway, the cartoon version of LJN, this was a pretty decent game. Now, if its story was just a little better...
Pac-Man Fever
Terrible, blatant Mario Party rip-off. I can't exactly remember, but I think there were like 5 playable characters too, I could be wrong. Oh, also, terrible mini-games.
That's pretty much all the GC games I've finished within the last couple of years...
