Difference between sd gecko and wiikey sd adapter?

Post by arale » Tue Aug 14, 2012 2:25 pm

I already have the wiikey sd adapter. So is it worth to get the SD gecko or are there barely any changes between them?

No changes besides the Wiikey SD adapter's form resembles an official memory card.

SD Geko spring loads the card like the Wii hardware does.

I do not have a wii key reader but it looks very similar to a wi SD reader which is not spring loaded and the build quality is lower than the SD Geko in my opinion.

but they both work the same...
spring loaded only means possible spring failure...

stick with the cheap stuff...it works
