Hello
I own a Wii modded with Wode Jukebox chip and a GameCube modded with XenoGC
I rip my games using the Wode ripping feature and then burn them with IMGBurn to be played on the GameCube (Those Audiostreaming games won't play audio properly in Wode).
My question is, should I do something to the image once it's ripped so it's easier for the GameCube to pick it up?
I remember seeing fstfix had some kind of option which was 32k alignment or something like that but I don't remember now what that was for..
Thank you.

Re: Game ripping and burning question
1:1 burns are mostly the best option because some discs have specifically been written with files in certain offsets on the disc so that audio streaming doesn't make the drive constantly seek between 2 spots (Starfox Adventures really thrashes the drive seek at times). For example, if the game is loading the next scene, whilst also streaming music, those 2 files should lie close to each other.
The FSTFIX 32K align option is for Audio Streaming games that were shrunk back in the scene days and lost their 32K alignment - this would cause the "An error has occurred" screen when the game tried to play the audio stream at that position on disc. Don't use it if you're making 1:1 backups.

Thanks for your reply!
So I guess my best choice is just ripping them with WODE and then burning them
