Is my WKF broken?

Post by JimmySummer » Fri Mar 29, 2013 11:56 am

Hello everybody,

I try to connect my wiikey fusion to my gamecube.
I managed but because to change things it is stop working.
I restart the installation with a new gamecube but it doesn't work.
Is my WKF broken?

Is there a way to simply test the proper operation of the wiikey fusion?
If I connect only the power supply (3.3V) can I see the blue light?

Thanks for your answer.

PS: Sorry for my bad english, I'm French.

there are only two ways to test your WKF
1. connect it to a wii to confirm it works...
2. wire it all up to the GC and hope all your wires and switches are correct....

double check your wiring to the GC once again...only one bad connection can cause malfunction

i would not try this but if you are really desperate:
you need a normally closed switch and a 3v source...
MAYBE IF you feed it 3v power only and GND, the press the normally closed switch...MAYBE the blue LED will flash to let you know its at least functional....

...but check the GC wiring first as that is usually the cause for WKF not working

Thank you for your answer.

I will check the GC wiring one more time and if it doesn't work I will buy another WKF.
