mega drive v6 install
Is it possible to leave the DVD connector in tact when installing mega v6? Or does it cause shorts?

nice solder job..its a little tricky at first till you get the hang of it eh?
you can leave the DVD connector there no problem....just do not have a DVD drive attached onto the connector else you will have data conflict/collision and boot issues.

Yeah, you can use the drive if you unplug the wasp though.

Thanks for the reply! And yeah the solder was tricky but I did got the hang of it. It would have been easier I'm sure if I didn't shake like a crack head when I solder. The board is perfect though. Amazing design. Do you use CAD software to design the PCB? I only wonder because I keep thinking I'd like to make some nice SD geckos. I'm pretty good with auto CAD but I've never used PCB design software.
