Back in the day before the Gamecube was released I remember reading a magazine that came with a CD with some GC videos on it. There was Super Smash Bros Melee and can't recall others but the Rebirth one really stood out

I forgot about it and much later played Pikmin which somewhat reminded me of this tech demo. It's been years since I've seen it and it still looks impressive

Interestingly, the disc for Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (Japan, v1.01) also includes the same Rebirth video as Chaos Field.


I'm guessing it was to used as a placeholder video (demo.thp) until an actual gameplay video (demo3.thp) was selected to be used.
