Start Swiss, remove all SDGecko/etc completely.
Go to the device menu, move the selection to SD
Press X, set speed to 16MHz (Slow)
Insert SDGecko/etc with SD card in it
Press A
What happens then?
Swapping to SDHC after booting, files don't show up
Re: Swapping to SDHC after booting, files don't show up
What about loading (and patching) a single DOL from a multi-DOL game disc, such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Master Quest?
Hardware: Wii (PAL)
Hardware configuration: System Menu 4.1E, Priiloader
Swiss boot method: Modified Wii Swiss Booter provided by Extrems
Software medium: Retail discs

Re: Swapping to SDHC after booting, files don't show up
Master Quest disc works here in its entirety from SDGecko (ok, maybe not the movies).
The problem with loading a specific in-game DOL directly is that it might rely on some other setup data/parameters to be passed to it that I wouldn't know about.

same thing. says reading SD in slot B and then after a while goes back to device selection.

Yes, but 480p won't survive the loading of a game.emu_kidid wrote:Master Quest disc works here in its entirety from SDGecko (ok, maybe not the movies).
Not like I can try anymore anyway, as the loader crashes due to the returning audio streaming bug.

if you do it from SDGecko it does, the games have minimal lag since the bulk of it is loaded at the start anyway.

Wait, what? Master Quest behaves differently when it's on a SD Gecko?

Re: Swapping to SDHC after booting, files don't show up
I can write patches for SDGecko/IDE-EXI loaded multi-dol games, then those can be read in place of the original content, thus allowing multi-dol games to work with forced video modes/etc.
