Need Help Please!

Post by Midori » Tue Aug 05, 2014 3:04 am

I have a old-school Action Replay and I have a SD to Gamecube memory adapter. I formated the card to FAT16 quite a bit, its non SDHC, and I put SDLoader.bin on it and when i go to load SDLoad the screen goes black and nothing literally happens. I tried using sdpatch.exe but it only works with Windows XP thus I cannot use it.

How do I setup my SD card to work with SDLoad? I looked all over the internet for the past 2 hours and have come up dry since everything says "sdpatch.exe". I'm trying to set this up to load Swiss like seen here.

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1046

Even getting this to run SDLoad would be good. Thanks.

You need to get that sdpatch running, if you have a Wii that can boot GC homebrew, boot the DOL version of it.

virtualbox
install an XP client and run it from your current PC...
then you can have access to get the patch on the card...

or find someone with XP

Thanks for the help! I have one more question.

What exactly does sdpatch do? Is it possible to just upload the files sdpatch makes or is sdpatch literally needed? thanks

sdpatch fills in a small reserved part of the card with a small loader that will then read the card and boot SDLOADER.BIN
