I love the fact I can play videos from my cube but I running into big problems with crashes. What format will I need to convert my videos and movies for mplayer to work fine? MP4 is a no go MKV forget it avi is hit or miss divx seems to work most of the time. What Im doing wrong here. I'm waiting for IDE-EXI for my movie collection.
P.S I have many other systems to play movies like my CFW PS3 but its a 60gb never YOLD and Im trying to keep it that way and a XBOX360 slim but that has its problems too. The cube is like a tank it doesnt die which is the reason i would like it for a media player

Re: MPlayer-CE video formats?
I have used that homebrew to play 50-60 mb mp4, in fact I use it to play almost all the anime I watch.AVI works better than mp4 but the the space it takes is a problem. I used some mkv files, but these are a little more difficult to work. Mpg, flv and 3gp also work most of the times. I think the secret with this player is to keep the videos in low quality to have more chances to work.
